Apartment Life

Yesterday after I made my post I went to play a bit of the sims 2 and ended up making an apartment. I took some pictures of it for you. The ones that are showing are the front and the second floor. There are still the back, kitchen, grill, playground, gym and the fun space. I don't know how to call it in english, but think about a place where you can play piano or violin, read or play chess, make clothes or clay vases. That's my fun space. The dormitories are not big, they have a bathroom, a bedroom and a small kitchen and living room. You only need to sleep and take a bath there, right? Maybe if you miss a TV *I did not put a TV anywhere, shame* you can buy one for yourself but I really think that I covered almost all the sims needs.
Since it is an apartment, you need Apartment Life. I have all the expansion Packs and I did not check wich ones you'll really need for it to work. As custom content, I got the Ottoman from Around The Sims 2, a flower-like chair from ChinafanSims and lots of recolors from Piggi's Sims. I did not use any special stuff from special packs from the sims, so just normal expansions will do. And as a statement, give me a discount, this was the 3rd try to make the same apartment. On the first try I saved it as apartment before finished the construction mode and had to delete it. Second try I made it quite complete, but forgot the stairs. So on this one I was pretty tired, it ended up getting as I wanted, but not as good as I had it on my mind. I'll work it out on my next buildings.
Next round: Time to make a Sim...

Run Lola, RUN!

Today was a very hard day. I had to go after a lot of people to sign a lot of papers to not get reproved in a subject on my university. I am exhausted, trust me.
So, my dad asked me what I think it is worse in USA, women or races. I did not get the question till he told me that they did not chose Hilary as their candidate, but they did to Obama. Interesting point of view, isn't?
And I was looking for heart seamless backgrounds to make some wallpapers for my apartment on The Sims 2 and found out that all the ones that I like are paid. Too bad. The Sims 2 HomeCrafter Plus did not want to open too, so I was not able to turn even a single wallpaper.
To make it short: I am tired and stressed. Now I will start looking for photoshop tutorials and force myself to learn how to make my own textures. Wish me luck.

Turn Red!

This is Santa Maria Moon. She loves red and her husband, Rhuss Moon. They had a little daughter, Lunadora, and now that they just moved she can't help to feel a little bit alone...

Yesterday I wanted to try making recolors already but found out that my body shop didn't work. In the end, to make it work, I had to reset my game. Now that I am starting again, I decided to let a bit of them to you guys, just in case that I lose it again.
Ok, so, I tried very hard and that's what I got: My first recolor! Turn Red! The mesh is from inbeatz (Mesh 016, INCLUDED) and the original dress is from Edenstyle and was created by ML. I give them all the credits. By the way, my recolor got a bit blurry in game, noticed it when I zoomed too much... too bad T_T But it was a wild try after all, I think I can't ask perfection on my first try yet. Thanks to anyone that read and Happy Valentine's Day, even if it is almost over.

Baby Steps

Ok so I found out that it is not so hard to work here as I tought, I am starting to get used to it. Tomorrow I have classes in the morning, so when I come back I will try to make something for the Valentine's Day. Wish me luck!
